Nashua Fire Rescue responded to a call 12 Ferry Rd on December 24th, 2016. Upon arrival the first arriving units had smoke showing from the single family house. The two occupants who were home at the time of the fire had evacuated and NFR stretched lines and located the fire in the attic area of the house.

No occupants or fire fighters were injured. The house suffered fire damage in the attic and roof area as well as extensive smoke, and water damage. The family will be displaced for the holiday after this Christmas Eve fire.

The fire cause is undetermined but does not appear to be suspicious. Deputy Chief Walker had command of the fire.
