Bedford, NH - A Saab traveling South on the Everett Turnpike struck the Bedford toll booth at what witnesses reported was high speed. The vehicle rolled several times ejecting the sole occupant of the vehicle. Bedford Fire, NHSP, NHDOT responded to the scene which closed the left lanes for several hours.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. No toll workers were in the lane which the car crashed in and no one else was injured. Bedford Fire disconnected the battery so the scene would remain safe while NHSP investigated the accident. NHDOT assisted with traffic and clean up. ©Jeffrey Hastings / www.frameofmindphoto.com
