BPD Fatal Car Vs Pedestrian 11-08-16

Bedford, NH Two runners were struck by a vehicle on Pembroke Way at approx 7 a.m.. One of the runners survived, the second succumbed to his injuries. Thomas Ducharme, 58 of Bedford died of his injuries a few days after the accident. Gregory Uliasz, 58 of Bedford was seriously injured but survived.

A 16-year-old driver struck both of the runners with his Honda sedan. The juvenile later lost his license and had to perform community service. Speed and alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the accident.
