DFD Fire Rockingham Rd 6-11-18

Derry, NH - Derry Fire responded to 134 Rockingham Rd for a reported fire at Reynolds Welding. Upon arrival they found the garage and house engulfed in flames, with the owner indicating his wife had evacuated the house and no people were inside.

The property which sits off the roadway and accessed by a long driveway prevented apparatus from being able to easily access the fire. Crews ran hoses through the wood line to access the fire which was spreading the surrounding vehicles and brush.

The fire was eventually brought under control with the buildings being a total loss. A excavator was brought in to tear down the remaining structure so that it could be extinguished.
