DPD Homicide Investigation 8-10-19

At approximately 12:03 a.m. on August 10, 2019, Derry Police received a 911 call from the residence at 151 Bypass 28 in Derry. Upon arrival at the home, responding officers discovered a resident of the home, Ellen Munstis, age 74, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
Derry detectives conducted a homicide investigation in conjunction with the state Attorney General’s office and State Police at 151 Bypass 28 in Derry in which an elderly woman was shot dead.

At approximately 12:03 a.m. on August 10, 2019, Derry Police received a 911 call from the residence at 151 Bypass 28 in Derry. Upon arrival at the home, responding officers discovered a resident of the home, Ellen Munstis, age 74, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
The woman’s husband Roderick Munstis, 79 was arrested the night of the homicide when he met DPD at the front door of the house after calling them.
