Six New Firefighters Get A Structure Fire On Their First Day

Goffstown - Goffstown Fire responded to a reported structure fire at 264 Donald Drive. The address was familiar to the responders, they had responded to a structure fire earlier in

November for a fire that destroyed a home. When they arrived they found a garage fully engulfed in flames, and stretched lines.

This was the first day for six new firefighters on the job in Goffstown, giving them hands-on experience.

According to witnesses a contractor removing the structure which burned on November 4th was cutting steel in the area of the building.
An official cause has not been determined but it appears to be related to the cutting of the steel.
