September 21, 2016, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) will conducted an emergency preparedness exercise. The exercise involved over 75 different agencies which are part of the airport’s emergency plan. In addition, approximately 80 volunteers will take part in the drill which is based on a mock aircraft incident. The exercise ran for approximately three hours.

Airport Director Mark Brewer commented, “This exercise is intended to test the emergency preparedness of the airport, airlines and our mutual aid partners. The mid-week schedule for this year’s event will allow for a greater mutual aid response and provide additional opportunities for training and development. Their support is vital to the preparedness of the airport in the event of an actual emergency.”
