LFD Fire 12 King John Drive 8-10-17

Londonderry, NH - The home owner at a King John Drive house smelled wood burning and couldn’t find the source. She call Londonderry Fire who responded along with MFD Engine 3 on mutual aid. Upon arrival smoke and burning materials were evident in the house but the source was unknown. Using thermal imaging cameras LFD located the source of the smoke in a joist above a bedroom which had a wire burning the wood. LFD used extinguishers to limit water damage, and removed the ceiling and insulation.
