2/26/20 Londonderry Fire members of Battalion 2 staffing Engine 2, Ladder 2, Tanker 1 & Car 1 along with A Hudson Engine, Derry Engine & Hudson Tanker were dispatched to 7 Preserve Drive for a reported building fire.
Battalion Chief Heinrich arrived to find a 2 story wood frame single family structure with heavy smoke showing. Ladder 2 began attacking the exterior fire while Engine 2 stretched a line into the structure. Tanker 1 established water supply to the ladder and Hudson Engine 1 advanced a second line into the building.
A working fire was transmitted and after a short time on scene a 2nd alarm was transmitted bringing Salem, Windham & Litchfield to the scene. Fortunately nobody was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire was found to be accidental by Division Chief Johnson.
