Windham, NH - Windham Fire, Salem Fire, and NHSP responded to a accident involving motorcycles at approx 10:45 on June 16, 2018. Dispatch advised responding units they had 2 riders down with a large debris field.

Upon arrival Windham Fire requested DHART for one patient. Windham and Salem Fire with NHSP set up and secured a landing zone at the Northbound weigh station 2 miles North of the accident. Windham and Salem Fire transported the victim via ambulance to the landing zone where he was flown to a Boston hospital.

A second ambulance transported a second victim to Parkland Medical in Derry, NH.

NHSP is handing the accident investigation, and although the injuries were serious they do not appear to be life-threatening.
