Operation Thaw Manchester Fire Truck 6 Successful

Manchester fire crews worked to thaw Truck 6 which was frozen and couldn't be retracted after a weekend fire in frigid temperatures.

Crews used large tarps with several heaters and after several hours were able to lower and retract the mechanisms.

The truck will remain out of service while it is checked and it can be verified it is safe and fully operational.
