MFD Fire Jeanine St 4-23-23

Manchester, NH - Manchester Fire responded to a reported house fire at 23 Jeanine Street on Manchester’s east side on April 23, 2023.

Battalion Chief Jon Fosher was first to arrive at the scene and reported smoke showing and that the basement was charged with smoke. A working fire
was requested bringing additional apparatus and personnel to the scene of the fire.

Crews made entry into the building and worked to determine the source of the fire and ejected smoke using fans.

The fire was extinguished and the incident was brought under control within 30 minutes.

An investigator from the Manchester Fire Marshal’s Office responded to the scene to investigate the cause and origin of the fire. At this time the cause is undetermined but it does not appear to be suspicious.
