MFD Fire 1 Alarm 385 Union St

MFD received calls for a fire outside of 385 Union Street. Upon arrival Engine 11 reported smoke showing in the rear of the building between floors 1 and 2. They stretched a line and knocked down a fire in a heater unit which extended in to the wall.

The building is a very large 3 story multi family building with 12 units and is just a couple feet from two adjacent buildings. MFD isolated the fire to the single unit, according to District Chief Henry Martineau the building was able to be reoccupied and no one was injured.

Initial call 10:52 AM - Under control 11:04 All Out - 12:12 PM 4 Engines, 2 Ladders, 1 Rescue, and 1 ALS Unit 1 Alarm
