Manchester firefighters lined up outside the fire headquarters, standing attention on Merrimack Street. They saluted as the funeral procession for retired MFD Captain James McGrevey drove by.
He joined the City of Manchester Fire Department in 1952 and climbed to the rank of Captain. In recognition of his dedication to the betterment of the city, James received the Key to the City of Manchester and retired as the Chief’s Aide.
