Two vehicles were headed South on the Everett Turnpike when one of the vehicles (car) struck a van. The van rolled multiple times coming to rest on the guard rail.
The car jumped the guard rail and went South in the North bound lane and down an embankment.

Ambulances from Merrimack Fire Rescue, Bedford Fire Department, NH, and AMR of Nashua were called to the scene to transport multiple people to the hospital in varying conditions. All people transported were from the van.
A driver from the car was given a field sobriety test by New Hampshire State Police and the driver was handcuffed and taken in to custody.
The scene caused traffic to be backed up over 8 miles North Bound and over 4 miles South Bound.
