Incident Summary:A single 911 call alerted MFD to a building fire at 300 S Willow St at 0309am. Engine and Truck 7 located on Somerville st arrived on scene within 5 minutes and reported fire visible from the front of the building. Companies proceeded to extinguish the fire and search the building for occupants and found none.The fire was contained to the front entry way and parapet wall above with no further extension into the dining area of the structure.The buidling did suffer smoke damage throughout. An investigation is currently being conducted by the MFD Fire Prevention Unit but at this time does not appear suspicious. There were no injurues to civilians or MFD personnel.
