Manchester Fire Department held their open house kicking off National Fire Prevention Week. The event at MFD Fire Headquarters allowed kids to get educational materials, and watch demonstrations. The demonstrations included one with Cy the accelerant detecting dog who was cheered on by the recently retired MFD K9 Wynett. A demonstration on fire sprinklers and smoke detectors was also focussed on fire safety lessons.
