Manchester Fire responded to a man stranded in his powered wheelchair that stopped working on Hanover Street due to the extremely cold temperatures.

Bill proudly wearing his Vietnam War hat, had only traveled a few blocks from his residence was transferred into the warm fire-utility vehicle. Firefighters worked to move the wheelchair onto the lift gate of the truck, and then transported it back to his residence.

Every day there are things the first responders do that many times go unnoticed.

Great job Manchester Fire.
