Merrimack Fire Rescue responded to a chimney fire at 1 Autumn Lane. Upon arrival the homeowner had extinguished part of the fire but the creosote at the top of the metal chimney was still burning.

MFR extended ladders to the roof and extinguished the fire. Fire Departments remind you to have your chimney cleaned and inspected yearly. ©Jeffrey Hastings / www.frameofmindphoto.com
