Merrimack Fire Rescue has an incredible open house on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM where hundreds of people stopped by to tour the station, apparatus, and get educated on fire prevention.
Several hands on demonstrations kept people interested including fire extinguisher education, airbag / seatbelt awareness, fire sprinkler burn demo, K9 accelerant dog demo, and MPD K9 demo.
Kids had smiles, and their eyes were wide open watching the things blow up, burn, and get chopped up. It was truly fun for all ages.
