MPD Swears In Fifteen New Police Officers At Ceremony Held At MPAL
One of the largest groups of new officers in MPD history was sworn in at a ceremony held Monday.
New Officers have a very diverse background of age, education, and previous work experience.
Three of the officers are Veterans who have served the United States in various branches of the military.
1. Anthony T. Arnold
Anthony is 28 years old. He grew up in New Hartford, CT, and graduated from Northwestern Regional High School in 2009.
He furthered his education at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, and in 2013 he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Professional Communication.
2. Kyle P. Doran
Kyle is 27 years old. He grew up and currently resides in Medford, Mass. He is a graduate of Medford High School, class of 2010, and is studying toward a degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
Kyle has served with the Massachusetts Air Force National Guard since 2013, currently in the position of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician.
3. Brian M. Fabian
Brian is 22 years old. He grew up in and has most recently resided in East Northport, NY, and is a graduate of Northport High School, class of 2015. He furthered his education at the State University of New York – Plattsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Personal Training in 2019.
4. Justin L. Gaudreault
Justin is 25 years old. He grew up in Manchester, NH, and is a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School, class of 2012. He went on to attend the University of New Hampshire for two years, studying toward a degree in psychology with a minor in justice studies.
5. Carissa Gurung
Carissa is 24 years old. She was born in Nepal and lived in a refugee camp in that country the age of 15, when she and her family relocated to the United States. She first attended high school in Worcester, MA, before moving to Manchester in
