Manchester Police Officers And Family Honored MPD Investigator Moher On The 100th Anniversary Of His Line Of Duty Death

Inspector Moher had served 23 years with the Manchester Police Department when he was killed in the line of duty. He was shot by a robbery suspect on July 2, 1921 and died the next day.

Officers, and family gathered in the heavy rain and honored his legacy and service at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Manchester.

Members of Manchester Police past and present saluted at his grave site. Relatives of Investigator Moher placed a wreath on his grave as officers saluted.
