New Boston Fire responded to 11 Mont Vernon Rd, around the corner from the fire department. The homeowner had a chimney fire, and attempted to extinguish it herself.

The fire expanded and when the fire department arrived they had a working fire. A second alarm was struck for personnel and water supply.
