New Boston Fire held a ceremonial ground breaking at the site of a new fire station.

A large group of people gathered Wednesday, just before the ceremony the skies opened, however that didn’t
scare anyone off.

The new fire station has been a lengthy process for design, and funding.

The station will serve town of New Boston and also assist in offering emergency response to the New Boston Space Force Base.

The station is expected to be completed in about one year,
