Nashua Fire Rescue held a ribbon cutting and rededication ceremony at the Spit Brook Rd Station 3. The station was originally opened in October 1977. Retired Captain Maurice Trottier who opened the original station was on hand for the ribbon cutting marking the opening of the expanded station.

The station has had a 3rd bay added for additional apparatus, additional living space, a full gym, storage for the Firefighters protective gear, and a machine to decontaminate the gear when returning from fires.

Mayor Donchess, and other city officials and dignitaries were on hand for the event and ribbon cutting.
