New London, NH - On November 29, 2022 several local, state and county law enforcement agencies responded to Shaker Street near Route 11 in New London.
Fire, and EMS crews were dispatched to stage away from the area and remain on standby for an active incident.
The Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit was activated bringing specialized officers from towns and cities across central New Hampshire.
Radio traffic indicated that a man reportedly had shot a woman inside a house and was armed and barricaded in the house.
Authorities worked to resolve the situation, and after about two hours the Special Operations were cleared from the scene. Local, county and state police could
be seen working outside of a house on Shaker Street.
The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office issued a press release indicating their office, New Hampshire State Police, and New London police were investigating the untimely death of two adults inside a house. They said that it appears there is no danger to the public and the situation is contained to one area.
The State Police Major Crime scene van arrived at the scene at about 5:30 p.m.
