NHSP Trooper Cattabriga with his partner Casper trained to search out drugs trains during a training exercise. NHSP has twenty three K9 dogs trained on a range of specialties including drug search, bomb and ballistics locating, search and rescue, and cadaver searches. The k9’s are located throughout the state of NH and respond to hundreds of calls. They also offer support to local police departments who do not have K9’s available. ©Jeffrey Hastings/www.frameofmindphoto.com
