NPD SWAT 5 Beard St Standoff

Nashua Police received a call from a woman who said a person she was in a relationship with came in the basement apartment of 5 Beard St with a handgun. She was threatened and left the apartment and called NPD. The subject remained barricaded in the apartment for multiple hours and NPD SWAT responded attempting to make contact. A remote robot was deployed, and several acoustic explosives. NPD made entry and found the male had suffered a fatal self inflicted gunshot wound.
