Nashua Fire Dispatch received numerous calls reporting a building fire on Friday July 18, 2025 just before 3 a.m. in the area of Arlington and King Street. Engine 4 from the Crown Hill station arrived at the scene and reported heavy fire from a single-story detached garage spreading to exposures on each side of the garage.

Firefighters stretched multiple hose lines to stop the spread of the fire to the other structures. Crews worked to evacuate the adjacent structures which were occupied. One elderly resident was evacuated from a house on King Street as the house was catching fire.

A vehicle parked in front of the garage was heavily damaged and appears to be a total loss.

After the fire was extinguished information was gathered that indicated the fire may be suspicious in nature and the Fire Marshal’s Office was notified.

Due to the extensive damage, and information the scene required significant overhaul. Manchester Fire Marshal’s Office sent two investigators to assist, and Nashua Police Detectives responded to assist.

The garage contained many commonly found items which are extremely flammable which added to the significant damage.

At this time the investigation is continuing and video, and evidence was gathered throughout the morning by investigators.
