Nashua NH - Nashua Fire Rescue received a call at approx 9 Am from a neighbor of 32 Bicentennial reporting smoke coming from the attic of the house.
The first NFR unit on scene reported smoke showing and went to a working fire. They made entry to search and found the kitchen on fire in the house with smoke throughout the building.
NFR knocked down the fire and determined there were no people in the house but secured two large dogs which were unharmed.
The house was filled with smoke and leaves 5 occupants homeless according to Deputy Chief George Walker.
AMR Regional Manager Chris Stawasz on scene assisted in securing the dogs.
The fire appears to be accidental in nature and not suspicious but according to DC Walker but it is under investigation by NFR Fire Investigators.
