Manchester, NH - MFD responded to a call for smoke in the building and one person trapped on the second floor of 244 Pennsylvania Ave. Upon arrival MFD Rescue 1 made entry to the building pulling the 59 year old from a bedroom and bringing him to the front lawn of the building. The man was burned over 80% of his body according to District Chief Poulin and had shallow breathing. AMR ambulance crew arrived and MFD quickly loaded the patient on a stretcher and transported to Elliot Hospital Trauma Center.
