MFD MPD Rite Aid Car Vs Wall

Manchester - A 76 year old driver coming down Coolidge Ave lost control when they hit the accelerator by mistake jumping the curb and driving in to the Amory St side of the building containing Rite Aid at 122 McGregor St.


The vehicle struck and went thru the wall which was protecting the gas mains and electrical supply to the building. The driver was transported to the local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.


The Manchester Fire Department had to demolish part of the wall for safety once the vehicle was removed.
