On June 22, 2021 Manchester Fire responded to a report of smoke coming from an Autobody at 9 Rogers Street at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday.

The first units arriving had smoke showing from inside the garage, and requested a working fire status. Firefighters stretched hose lines and set up ladders to the roof.

Occupants of the building evacuated safely and firefighters determined the fire was in the ceiling area of the garage. Firefighters using hooks pulled down parts of the ceiling and extinguished the visible fire with hoses.

The AMR ambulance crew evaluated occupants from the building, no one required transport.

The fire was quickly extinguished and brought under control.

Manchester Fire Investigators are investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
