The fire was contained to the apartment of origin however, there was smoke and water damage to the rest of the structure.

Manchester Fire Marshal investigators were on scene and determined the fire started in the 2nd floor kitchen. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Red Cross was contacted for three adults who were displaced.

Firefighters worked with difficult access in the alley behind the structure due to power lines. A house next to the fire building was only inches away, firefighters worked to protect it from damage.

AMR medics were at the scene, however there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.

This was the second building fire that Manchester Fire responded to within 24 hours. On Friday they responded to a 2-alarm fire on Somerville Street.
