A motorcycle left the roadway on Federal Hill Rd and struck a tree. The driver a male in his twenties ejected off the motorcycle, and sustained serious injuries. It does not appear the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Milford Fire requested DHART medical helicopter to the scene. A landing zone was set up at Hampshire Hills where the patient was brought by Milford Ambulance. The motorcyclist was flown via DHART to a Massachusetts trauma center. The accident was investigated by Milford Police.
