On June 2, 2020 a protest and rally was planned for Manchester, NH. Authorities were made aware of large numbers of people coming, and potential unrest including violence.

In anticipation several businesses boarded up windows and added extra security. MPD added concrete barriers to protect the building. The NH National Guard prepared troops and equipment if needed.
