Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit - Salem NH Incident

Salem, NH - Salem Police responded to a house which had been condemned which had a subject in it. Upon arrival there was a smell of gas, then an explosion and shots fired. Police retreated to safe positions and positioned Salem Fire at a safe distance. The house became engulfed in flames, and SFD attempted to stream water from a long distance to remain safe, and protect exposed buildings. Southern NH Special Operations Unit was activated at the scene to ensure the suspect did not flee and maintain the safety of the surrounding houses.
