Manchester Fire Takes Delivery Of New Apparatusbr/Manchester Fire took delivery of a new E-One HR 100 Quint Ladder truck in December 2020 from Greenwood Emergency Vehicles. The truck was originally ordered to replace MFD Truck 3 based out of MFD Station 10 on Mammoth Rd.br/In March 2020 MFD Truck 1 was involved in an accident when Truck 1 and Engine 11 collided causing significant damage to both pieces of apparatus and requiring replacement of both.br/The new E-One HR 100 Quint Ladder truck will now be used as MFD Truck 1 at MFD Fire HQ on Merrimack Street while a replacement for the damaged Truck 1. br/It is anticipated that it will be 2022 before the replacement for the permanent Truck 1 is delivered. br/Once the permanent replacement for MFD Truck 1 is delivered the E-One HR 100 Quint Ladder truck will become MFD Truck 3br/©Jeffrey Hastings www.frameofmindphoto.com/newsbr/Watch Truck 1 crew training on the new apparatus - https://youtu.be/uJxBvVDcxLg
