MANCHESTER - MFD responded to an fire alarm at Maple Leaf Health Center on Pearl Street at 140 Tuesday. The alarm sounding indicated smoke from a duct which was located by fire crews. The duct connected to a power generator was on fire, spreading smoke. MFD extinguished the fire and worked to eject smoke from the facility.
