A homeless outreach team with members from Manchester Fire, Manchester Mental Health and Manchester Health Department visits homeless encampments daily checking on the health conditions. br/br/Tuesday the outreach team was driving by Victory park and they noticed blankets in the park. Although the park is not a planned stop they pulled over to check on the blankets.br/br/When they arrived to the middle of the park they found a female bundled in the blankets with clear symptoms of cold exposure. Firefighters called for an AMR ambulance and after several minutes of convincing the person to go to the hospital she was brought to the ambulance. The team gathered her belongings and brought them with them to the hospital so she would have them once treated.br/br/Manchester has had two people die in the last week.
