Goffstown, NH - GPD, and GFD responded to Wallace Rd for a home delivery oil tank truck which slid off the edge of the road. The truck carrying 1,000 gallons was at risk of rolling over possibly introducing oil into an adjacent brook. Bailey’s Towing and Recovery was called to the scene by the oil company. They stabilized the truck preventing it from rolling over.

It was determined a heavier wrecker was needed and Duval’s Towing & Recovery were called to the scene. Utilizing a large hoist/strap system the truck was lifted out of the ditch and back onto the road. No oil or hazmats leaked from the truck.

Goffstown Police closed the road for approx 1.5 hours, and Goffstown Fire stood by while the vehicle was removed.
