MFD responded to EPE Corp at 645 Harvey Rd for a chemical reaction and hazmat situation. They quickly evacuated the building which included EPE and other businesses. They discovered a machine with chemicals leaking from a pipe and causing hazmat issues. MFD utilized protective geat to neutralize the situation and check the remaining parts of the building. The building was closed to all employees which is approx 100 people for two shifts. MFD remained on scene for 2 hours until the scene could be turned over to Clean Harbors.
