On September 26, 2021 Manchester fire, police, and AMR ambulance responded to the area of South Maple Street and Holly Ave for a report of a rollover accident with a woman entrapped in the vehicle.

AMR and MFD Engine 7 arrived confirming entrapment, and MFD Rescue 1 with specialized equipment arrived at the scene. The vehicle was stabilized by firefighters, and a door was removed from the vehicle using hydraulic cutting tools.

The woman was the only occupant of the vehicle was removed and rushed to the Elliot Hospital. A trauma alert was requested at the Elliot, and the injuries appeared to be serious. Battalion Chief David Fleury said the patient had injuries to the lower extremities and unknown internal injuries.

At least one other vehicle was involved in the accident that is being investigated by Manchester Police. South Maple Street was closed for an extended time while the accident was investigated and the vehicles removed.
