MFD Respond To Fire At Waste Water Treatment Plantbr/br/MFD received an alarm activation from the waster water plant located at 300 Winston St at 345 PM Monday.br/br/When MFD Engine 9 arrived they had heavy black smoke billowing out of a brick building and called for additional units to respond.br/br/A fire was found and extinguished by MFD, and smoke removed from the building.br/br/A motor on a unit that moves air from one part of the process and pumps it underground caught on fire.br/br/The plant did not require any shutdowns, and MFD is investigating the cause of the fire.br/br/©Jeffrey Hastings www.frameofmindphoto.com/news
