FOM 2024-1262
BROOKLINE, NH - Brookline Fire and Brookline Ambulance were dispatched for multiple 911 calls for a structure fire at 38 Hood Road Saturday.
On arrival they had a camper and vehicle fully engulfed in fire, and exposure to a garage, house and propane tanks.
Command requested additional resources from multiple towns in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and requested water supply be set up.
Firefighters at the scene worked to check the house for any occupants and evacuate them due to the close proximity to the fire. Firefighters
rescued one pet from inside the house and brought it to the residents.
The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes, and although there was external damage to the structures it appeared they would be able to be reoccupied.
Crews used thermal cameras to check for hot spots and used foam to saturate the smoldering remains of the camper.
The fire is being investigated by Brookline Fire, and at this time no information is available on the cause and origin of the fire.
