Sunday December 29, 2019 at approx 645 am Deerfield Fire and surrounding towns responded to a reported structure fire at 41 Raymond Rd. On their arrival they had a large barn with heavy fire in the center of the barn and quickly spreading. A second alarm was called immediately, and a third alarm added shortly after. A water supply was set up to draw water from the river which was shuttled to the scene by multiple mutual aid tankers. Auburn and Sandown set up streams from ladder trucks. The fire was isolated to the barn and did not spread tot he house which was adjacent. The initial reports are the fire appears to not be suspicious and is under investigation.
