Motor Vehicle Collision, Intersection of Batchelder Rd. and Highland Ave., Raymond
On August 7, 2018 at approximately 07:53 P.M. the New Hampshire State Police Troop-A Barracks received a request from the Raymond Police Department to investigate a motor vehicle collision involving two of their department vehicles. The collision occurred at the intersection of Batchelder Road and Highland Avenue in the Town of Raymond. A 2015 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor being driven by Sgt. Kerry Pomeroy was traveling east on Batchelder Road responding to a call for service with the vehicle's emergency lighting and siren activated. A the same time a 2017 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor being driven by Ofc. Nicholas Heon was exiting Highland Ave and turned onto Batchelder Road which resulted in the two vehicles colliding. Both Sgt. Pomeroy and Ofc. Heon were transported to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH for treatment of suspected minor injuries and further medical evaluation. This collision remains under investigation.
