Manchester, NH - American Red Cross of New England came to the aid of more than fifty victims displaced by a 3-alarm fire on Union Street in Manchester early in the morning on New Year's day.

Several agencies joined the team including the Mayor’s Office, Manchester Fire, Manchester Housing Authority, Manchester Welfare, Manchester Health and Choice Realty.

The First Baptist Church of Manchester opened their doors to the victims within an hour of the fire happening which was a block from the church. They also hosted the agencies for two days so that it could be set up as a resource center.
