Merrimack NH - Merrimack Fire Rescue received calls for a building fire at 901 Columbia Circle. Merrimack PD arrived at the scene first and reported being able to feel heat from the building outside, and smoke showing. The fire appears to have started in the back part of the business in 901 which is part of a larger building housing approx 10 businesses.

MFR made entry in to 901 and 902 extinguishing the fire in approx 20 minutes. The smoke spread to several of the businesses but the fire was prevented from spreading due to a fire wall. The fire is under investigation but does not appear to be suspicious. MFR Chief advised it was a working fire assignment bringing Nashua to the scene for mutual aid, and area towns for station coverage. ©Jeffrey Hastings / www.frameofmindphoto.com/news
